Taken cruelly on the 13th February 2012 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Newcastle with all family members around her bed. Linda suffered Asthma from being a child and was later diagnosed with COPD. Linda was 56 when she passed. Linda was a widely known woman from South Shields and an amazing Nanna. She cherished every single moment with her family, and doted on her children and grandchildren, all 18 of us and would never have a word said against us. She was aged 56 when she sadly passed away, but prior to her death she suffered from serious Asthma and COPD, which is why we chose to fund raise and donate to the British Lung Foundation. My nanna will be sadly missed by many, including all her family and her vast number of friends. Rest in Peace Linda Ann Hewitt xxx
